Ricketts named to Preseason All-Atlantic Hockey Team

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross men's ice hockey senior forward Jack Ricketts was named to the Preseason All-Atlantic Hockey team, as voted on by the conference's head coaches, and announced by the league Tuesday.

Ricketts, who finished the 2022-23 campaign as a Second Team All-Atlantic Hockey selection, dressed for all 41 games for the Crusaders last season, recorded a career-high 16 goals and 16 assists for 32 points. Overall, Ricketts led the squad in points and blocked shots by a forward, tied for first in assists, and ranked tenth all-time for goals in a single season in program history. During the Crusader's playoff push at the end of the regular season, Ricketts rattled off an eight-game point streak in a stretch that saw the team go 6-2-0, the fourth-longest such streak in program history.

Ricketts also received votes for Preseason Player of the Year. Junior forward Liam McLinskey and senior netminder Jason Grande also received votes for the preseason team.

The Crusaders were picked to finish fourth by the league's coaches, receiving one first-place vote.
