PRINCETON, N.J. — Holy Cross women's golf team took a trip to New Jersey for the Princeton Invitational held at the Springdale Golf Course. The team finished 12th place overall with play concluding on Sunday, Sept. 17.
Sophomore Neve Thanner led the charge for the Crusaders firing a 78, 77, and 79 for a 234 (+8) performance which gave her 49th place.
After three rounds of the 54-hole course, the Crusaders finished with a score of 950 (+98) as a team.
COACH'S CORNER:
"Our women played terrific during the second round. All six players posted scores between 74 and 78, perhaps the lowest scores ever posted throughout the lineup by the Women's Golf Team at Holy Cross," said director of golf Steve Napoli. "Everyone is looking forward to competing at the Naval Academy next week. "
