WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross junior
Lauren Drillock been selected to the 2023 Academic All-Patriot League women's lacrosse team, as announced by the conference office. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing with at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, and be a starter or key reserve.
Drillock, who previously earned second team All-Patriot League honors, started all 18 games for the Crusaders this season and led the team in scoring with 67 points on 47 goals and 20 assists. She also finished the year with a team-high 45 draw controls and 18 ground balls. Drillock currently ranks seventh in the Patriot League in goals per game (3.61) and 10th in points per game (3.72), while her 67 total points are the seventh-highest single-season total in school history. In her career, she has now totaled 88 points on 67 goals and 21 assists in 36 games played. Drillock also carries a cumulative grade point average of 3.86 with a double major in psychology and neuroscience.
The Crusaders concluded the 2023 season with an overall record of 7-11 and a 4-5 mark in Patriot League play.
