WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Eve Feuerbach and sophomore Haley Murphy of the Holy Cross women's track and field team have been named to the Outdoor Track & Field Academic All-Patriot League Team, as announced by the league office Thursday.

Feuerbach is graduating with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She posted a 3.75 cumulative grade point average and left her mark on the track and field program this season. In addition to the program records she set during the indoor season, Feuerbach claimed outdoor records in the 5,000 meter (16:41.38) and 10,000 meter (35:23.84) at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship. She earned a bronze medal in the 5k followed by a fourth-place finish in the 10k.
 
Murphy is majoring in chemistry and holds a 3.93 GPA after two years on the Hill. She earned her first conference medal at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship with a third-place finish in the 400m hurdles (1:02.97). Murphy, also, helped her 4x400 team finish sixth.

The Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year award and Academic All-Patriot League team honor student-athletes who excel both on and off the field. The awards are nominated and voted on by the Patriot League track and field sports information directors. To be eligible for the Scholar-Athlete of the Year award and the Academic All-Patriot League team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport.
