Women's track and field take sixth at New England Championship

DEDHAM, Mass. — The Holy Cross women's track and field team tallied 42 points to earn sixth place out of 42 competing squads.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

Senior Obiamaka Igwenagu won the triple jump with a final mark of 12.12m.
Senior Eve Feuerbach placed fifth in the 1500m with a personal best time of 4:35.15. She was followed by senior Carly Robinson who set a personal record of 4:43.04.
Senior Annie Lineberger tied for second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.75m.
Freshman Celia Kulis and sophomore Jane Feeney earned fourth and fifth in the heptathlon.
The 4x100 relay team with junior Kiley Ronan, freshman Giavanna Ciaravino, senior Kate Ashley and sophomore Haley Murphy earned sixth with a time of 47.75.
The 4x400 relay with Ronan, Murphy, junior Lindsay Marjanski and Ashley finished fourth with a time of 3:55.02.
The 4x800 group of Robinson, sophomore Abby Hughes, freshman Fiona Doherty and freshman Alex Lusby finished fifth, crossing the finish at 9:29.53.
