WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Peyton Morehouse of the Holy Cross softball team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for March 27-April 2.

Morehouse helped the Crusaders to two victories this past week hitting .545 (6-of-11) with a .583 on-base percentage and a .818 slugging percentage. The senior totaled a home run, four RBI, a walk and two runs scored across four games.

In a doubleheader sweep of Stonehill, Morehouse combined to go 4-for-7 (.571) with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored. During the game one, 8-0 run rule victory, Morehouse was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with her first career home run. Versus BU on Sunday, she was 2-for-2 with an RBI single.

On the season, Morehouse is slashing .343/.410/.486 with an 896 OPS, one home run, nine RBI, a triple and three runs scored.

The Crusaders (7-21, 0-5 PL) take on Boston University Monday, April 3 in a Turnpike Trophy showdown at 4 p.m.
