WORCESTER, Mass. - The No.18 men's rowing team took first in all four of its head-to-head races against Hobart on Sunday, April 23 on Lake Quinsigamond.
The Varsity Eight finished with a 6:55.07, 12.5 seconds ahead of Hobart's V8. The 2nd Varsity Eight crossed the finish with a 6:01.3, a slim 6.04 seconds ahead of Hobart.
The 3rd Varsity Eight recorded a 6:01.2, 10.77 seconds ahead of the Statesmen. The 4th Varsity Eight rounded out the results sheet with 6:26.0, 10.18 seconds ahead of the next boat.
The men's rowing program will return to the water on Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29, when it travels down to Philadelphia, Pa. to take on No. 12 Cornell, No. 19 Oregon State, and No. 14 Pennsylvania.
