Holy Cross Athletics

• Competed in all four fall events.
  • Won the Collegiate 8+ with the Varsity 8+ at the Head of the Snake (10/5).
  • Helped team to a third-place finish in the Collegiate 8+ at the Head of the Charles (10/20).
  • Won the Collegiate 8+ with the Varsity 8+ at the Wormtown Chase (10/26).
  • Finished ninth in the Men's 8+ with the Varsity 8+ at the Princeton Chase (11/3).

2023-2024 (Junior):

• Competed in two fall races.
  • Placed second with the third varsity 8+ at the Wormtown Chase (10/28).
  • Placed 19th at the Princeton Chase (11/5) with the second varsity 8+.
• Competed in six spring races.
  • Defeated MIT at the Alumni Cup (3/30), placed fourth at the Occoquan Invitational (4/14), and finished third in home invitational against no.13 Boston U., no. 22 Temple, Marist, and Hobart (4/20) with the second varsity 8+.
  • Competed with the varsity 8+ against no. 8 Pennsylvania and no. 14 Cornell (5/3), no. 22 Oregon St. (5/4), and at the Eastern Sprints (5/19).

• Helped the fourth varsity eight to sixth at the Wormtown Chase Regatta (10/29) and 38th at the Princeton Chase Regatta (11/6).
• Competed in eight spring races.
  • Raced to first-place finishes against Hobart (4/23) with the fourth varsity eight, and against Oregon St. (4/29) with the third varsity eight.
  • Helped the fourth varsity eight to a second-place finish at the New England Championship (5/6).

• Competed in three spring races with the fourth varsity eight.
  • Finished first at the Jesuit Invitational (3/26).
  • Placed fourth at the Alumni Cup (4/2).

• Competed for head coach Steve McKiernan at Boston College High School in Dorchester, Mass.
• Helped lead team to New England fall championships in 2018 and 2019.
• Part of the Mile High Rowing Club in Denver, Colo., during his freshman year.
• Member of National Honor Society.

• Son of Rich and Holly Linton.
• Has one brother, Spencer, and two sisters, Caroline and Catherine.
• Majoring in History.
