SMITHFIELD, R.I.—The Holy Cross women's track and field team claimed fourth at the Bryant Invitational out of 17 teams. The team recorded 68.5 points on the weekend.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

• The Crusaders had three women place in the top ten of the 1500m. Senior Eve Feuerbach claimed seventh with a time of 4:45.78. She was followed by freshman Alex Lusby in eighth (4:46.21) and sophomore Abby Hughes in ninth (4:47.13).
• Sophomore Ella Grey finished second in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.78, a New England qualifying finish. She was followed by freshman Celia Kulis in sixth (15.02).
• Senior Kate Ashley claimed third in the 200m with a New England qualifying mark of 25.42. Junior Kiley Ronan placed eighth with a time of 25.82.
• Sophomore Caroline Gage set a personal best in the 5k with a time of 18:32.29, finishing fourth. Junior Maura Doherty finished sixth with a time of 18:39.24. 
• Freshman Sienna Moore placed eighth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.25m.
• Senior Obiamaka Igwenagu won the triple jump with a mark of 11.75m.
• The 4x100m relay with freshman Giavanna Ciaravino, sophomore Yoma Avbovbo, Ashley and freshman Sydney McDonald claimed fourth with a time of 49.62.
• The 4x400 relay with Ronan, Lusby, sophomore Haley Murphy and Ashley finished second with a time of 3:57.27.

NEXT UP:

• The Holy Cross women's track and field team returns to action of Saturday, April 8. The team will split the roster as select competitors will travel to Amherst, Mass. for the UMass Minutemen Invitational or to George Mason in Fairfax, Va.
