WEST WINDSOR, N.J. - The No. 17 men's rowing program had four boats compete on Sunday, April 16 on Mercer Lake, where it faced No. 16 Temple, No. 19 Georgetown, and Marist.
Varsity Eight defeated No. 16 Temple and Marist on their way to a second-place finish, with a time of 5:50.54. No. 19 Georgetown finished just ahead, with a 5:47.2. In the 2nd Varsity Eight, the Crusaders crossed the finish line with a 6:02.42, besting Georgetown and Marist, but finishing just under three seconds behind the host school, Temple.Â
The 3rd Varsity Eight faced two boats from Temple, finishing second with a 6:18.08. The 4th Varsity Eight competed in a head-to-head with Temple, crossing the line with a 6:27.29.
Men's rowing will return to Worcester, Mass. for their spring home opener on Saturday, April 22, when it welcomes Hobart to Lake Quinsigamond. The first race is scheduled for 10:40 a.m.
