Jasmine Rahman won their match at No. 2 doubles, but the Holy Cross women's tennis team was defeated by Colgate 4-0 at the Paxton Tennis & Fitness Club. The Crusaders fall to 3-3 on the season, while the Raiders improve to 8-4 overall.
In doubles play, Carlson and Rahman posted a 7-5 victory over Katerina Atallah and Natalie Fuller at the No. 2 spot, but Colgate earned wins at No. 1 and No. 3 to claim the doubles point. The Raiders then had victories at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 singles to wrap up the match. At No. 1 singles, sophomore
Ahana Nagarkatti trailed Amelia Galin 4-6, 6-1, 0-1 in a close match, when play was stopped after the overall result was decided.
Holy Cross returns to action on Wednesday, March 22, when it plays host to New Haven at 3:30 p.m.
