The Holy Cross men's basketball team will play its second straight home game when it faces Lafayette on Monday, Feb. 6, at 7:00 p.m. The contest between the Crusaders and the Leopards will be shown live to a national audience on the CBS Sports Network.

Holy Cross currently has a mark of 5-7 in the Patriot League and an overall record of 8-17. In conference action, the Crusaders have defeated Bucknell (twice), Boston University, Loyola (Md.) and Navy, while falling to Lehigh (twice), American, Army, Colgate, Lafayette and Navy. Holy Cross currently leads the Patriot League in three-point field goal percentage defense (31.7 percent), while standing fourth in blocked shots (2.8 blocks per game) and fifth in steals (6.6 steals per game).

Senior forward Gerrale Gates has led the team by averaging 17.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocked shots per game, in addition to hitting 50.3 percent of his field goal attempts. Freshman guard Will Batchelder has added 11.7 points and 2.0 assists per contest, while junior guard Joe Octave is putting up 11.2 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

Lafayette currently stands 7-18 overall and 5-7 in the Patriot League. The Leopards have lost their last three games, falling to Colgate (69-57), Navy (53-34) and Lehigh (66-64). Senior forward Leo O'Boyle has led the team by averaging 11.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game, while making 38.6 percent of his shots from three-point range. Sophomore guard C.J. Fulton has put up 10.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists per contest, with junior forward Kyle Jenkins adding 9.6 points, 5.7 boards and 2.4 assists per game.

Following the contest with Lafayette, the Crusaders will travel to American for a 2:00 p.m. game on Saturday, Feb. 11.
