The Holy Cross men's basketball team will be back on the court this Thursday, Dec. 21, when it travels to Harvard for a 2 p.m. game. The contest between the Crusaders and the Crimson will be shown live on ESPN+.

Holy Cross stands 2-9 so far this year, including a 68-67 victory at Georgetown on Nov. 11 and a 74-61 win over IUPUI on Nov. 19. Senior guard Joe Octave leads the team with averages of 14.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game, while hitting 46.5 percent of his field goal attempts. Junior forward Caleb Kenney has posted 8.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game, with sophomore guard Will Batchelder putting up 7.7 points, and 1.6 assists per contest and freshman forward Joe Nugent adding 6.9 points and 5.2 boards per game.

Harvard enters the game with an overall mark of 7-3 on the season. In their last game, the Crimson defeated Army West Point 70-64 on Dec. 8. Freshman guard Malik Mack leads the team by averaging 20.1 points, 4.4 assists and 4.0 rebounds per contest, while knocking down 47.2 percent of his three-point attempts. Sophomore forward Chisom Okpara is also off to a strong start this year, with averages of 16.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocked shots per game..

After the contest with Harvard, Holy Cross will take a week off for Christmas before returning to action with a home game against Elms on Friday, Dec. 29, at 2 p.m.
