BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Sophomore Kate Hong finished in the individual top-20 as the Holy Cross women's golf team finished in 14th place at the Lehigh Invitational at the Saucon Valley Country Club.
Hong paced all Crusaders firing a 75 in the first round on day one. On the final day of play she shot an 83 for a 159 (+14) performance which gave her a share of 17th place.
After two rounds of the 36-hole course, the Crusaders finished with a score of 663 (+87) as a team for a 14th place finish to conclude their fall season.
COACH'S CORNER:
"With only one round out of twelve scoring in the 70's (Kate Hong) this was not our best performance," said director of golf Steve Napoli. "On the bright side Lillian Bateman '26 and Caleigh Noonan '26 were in the lineup for the first time this year, gaining valuable tournament experience for the future."
