WORCESTER, Mass. –  Junior Ahana Nagarkatti has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from Sept. 25-Oct. 1. Nagarkatti led the Holy Cross women's tennis team to a 7-0 victory over Mount Holyoke in its only match last week.

During Tuesday's win over the Lyons, Nagarkatti posted a convincing 6-1, 6-3 victory over Jaskirat Kaur at No. 2 singles. She also teamed with freshman Alison Lynn to defeat Rachel Allen and Cal Smith 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.

Overall this season, Nagarkatti stands 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles. During her collegiate career, she owns records of 14-19 in singles play and 13-24 in doubles action. 

Holy Cross (1-1 overall) returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 7, when it plays host to Rider at 3 p.m.
