ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Sophomore Kate Hong finished in the individual top-10 as the Holy Cross women's golf team finished in 11th place at the Navy Fall Invitational at the Naval Academy Golf Course.
Hong paced all Crusaders firing a 78 in the first round on day one. On the final day of play she shot a 75 for a 153 (+9) performance which gave her a share of 8th place.
After two rounds of the 36-hole course, the Crusaders finished with a score of 649 (+73) as a team.
COACH'S CORNER:
"Kate Hong played solidly throughout the tournament and it was great to see Lauren Dohoney fight back after a rough poor round," said director of golf Steve Napoli. "We are capable of playing better as a team and we will continue to work towards that goal."
