WORCESTER, Mass. – Former Holy Cross forward Matt Faw (Class of 2021) has signed a contract with S.C. Lusitania of Liga Portuguesa de Basquetebol, the top men's professional club basketball league in Portugal.

Over the course of his career as a Crusader, Faw totaled 788 points, 364 rebounds, 109 blocks, 74 steals and 64 assists, while making 111 of 305 three-point attempts (36.4 percent). He finished his four years on Mount St. James ranked eighth all-time in program history in blocked shots.

Faw was selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll following his senior season in 2020-2021, when he averaged a career-best 11.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals per contest.
