ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Sophomore
Connor Nelson and senior
Alexander Ruenhorst picked up wins in both singles and doubles action to lead the Holy Cross men's tennis team to a 4-0 victory over Lafayette in the first round of the Patriot League Tournament at the U.S. Naval Academy Tennis Courts. The Crusaders improve to 4-16 overall and move on to face Navy in the quarterfinals on Friday, while the Leopards finish the season at 3-16 overall.

The victory was the first by the Crusaders in the Patriot League Tournament since 1998, when they defeated Lafayette 6-1 in the consolation round.
