Crusaders drop home match to Boston College

WORCESTER, Mass. — The Holy Cross men's tennis team was defeated by Boston College 7-0 in non-conference action at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility. The Crusaders fall to 3-16 on the season, while the Eagles improve to 6-17 overall.

Boston College began the day by winning all three doubles matches to take the doubles point, then went on to sweep the singles matches. The closest match of the day came at No. 4 singles, where senior Alexander Ruenhorst fell to the Eagles' Will Kasten 6-4, 5-7, (10-5).

Holy Cross returns to action on Thursday, April 28, when it takes part in the first round of the Patriot League Tournament in Annapolis, Md.
