Alexander Ruenhorst all won in both singles and doubles action, to lead the Holy Cross men's tennis team to a 6-1 victory over Assumption at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility. The Crusaders improve to 3-15 on the year, while the Greyhounds fall to 2-9 overall.
Holy Cross began the day by sweeping the doubles matches to take the doubles point and an early 1-0 lead. The Crusaders then went on to take five of the six singles matches to earn the overall victory.
Kelleher posted a 6-4, 6-3 victory at No. 1 singles, while sophomore
Connor Nelson won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3. Other singles victories came from Ruenhorst at No. 4 (6-1, 6-0), O'Flynn at No. 5 (6-0, 6-0) and McTernan at No. 6 (6-3, 6-1).
Prior to the match, the senior members of the Holy Cross team who will be graduating in May were honored in a special ceremony for their contributions over the last four years. McTernan, Ruenhorst, senior

The Crusaders return to action on Sunday, April 24, when they play host to Boston College at 12:00 p.m.
