WEST POINT, N.Y. — The Holy Cross women's tennis team was defeated by Loyola (Md.) 4-0 at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center. The Crusaders fall to 5-8 on the season, while the Greyhounds improve to 6-2-1 overall.
Loyola began the day by sweeping all three of the doubles matches. The Greyhounds then posted victories at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5 singles, before the rest of the matches were stopped after the overall outcome had been determined.
Holy Cross returns to action on Sunday, March 27, when it stays in West Point, N.Y., to face Lafayette at 5:00 p.m.
