HAVERHILL, Mass. — The Holy Cross women's tennis team was defeated by Merrimack 6-1 at Cedardale Health and Fitness. The Crusaders fall to 5-6 on the season, while the Warriors improve to 4-6 overall.

Ahana Nagarkatti picked up the lone victory of the day over Kristina Calistro at No. 1 singles, winning the first set 7-6 (7-1) before her opponent retired due to injury. Merrimack won the other five singles matches and all three doubles matches to claim the overall victory.
Holy Cross returns to action on Friday, March 25, when its heads to Army West Point for a 12:00 p.m. match.
