WORCESTER, Mass. — The Holy Cross women's tennis team was defeated by Colgate 7-0 at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility. The Crusaders fall to 5-5 on the season, while the Raiders improve to 7-6 overall.
Colgate began the day by sweeping all three of the doubles matches. The Raiders then went on to take all six of the singles matches in straight sets. The closest single match of the day came at the No. 2 spot, where the Raiders' Emme Levenson downed freshman
Ahana Nagarkatti 6-3, 7-5.
Holy Cross returns to action on Wednesday, March 23, when its heads to Merrimack for a 3:00 p.m. match.
