Women's track and field competes at David Hemery Valentine Invite

BOSTON— The Holy Cross women's track and field team competed at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

Junior Annie Lineberger claimed first-place in the pole vault with a mark of 3.75 meters.
Senior Jordyn Shubrick took sixth in the weight throw, finishing with a mark of 16.86 meters.
Shubrick also posted a tenth-place finish in the shot put, putting the shot 12.62 meters. This marked a personal best for the senior.
Junior Obiamaka Igwenagu placed ninth in the triple jump with an 11.55 meter mark.
Several Crusaders posted personal bests in the 400 meter race including, junior Kate Ashley (56.41), senior Ashley Thomas (57.89), sophomore Kiley Ronan (59.07) and senior Grace Hoelscher (58.75).
The 4x400 relay team of Thomas, Hoelscher, Ronan and Ashley finished in 11th place with a time of 3:53.42, their best of the season.
Freshman Molly O'Connor also earned a personal record in the 200 meter race in a time of 24.91.
Senior Emily Foley finished the 800 meter race with a time of 2:16.85, her best in the event.
Junior Carly Robinson beat her record in the mile, completing the event in 5:13.02.

NEXT UP:

The Crusaders will have a couple of weeks to prepare for the Patriot League Indoor Championship on Saturday, Feb. 26 and Sunday, 27.
