PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving program returned to action on Saturday and was upended 193-95 to non-conference opponent Providence at the Taylor Natatorium.
Sophomore
Charlie Nascimben placed first in the 200-meter breaststroke (2:25.55) and the 200-meter individual medley (2:10.50).
Freshman
Rory Hess hit the wall fist in the 200-meter butterfly and earned nine points for the Crusaders at 2:08.73. Classmate
Patrick Walsh also earned a first place finish competed in the 200-meter backstroke with a time of 2:10.20.
Senior
Michael Brennan took home the top slot in the 100-meter butterfly at 58:12.
The Crusaders (1-5, 0-2 PL) will compete in their final scheduled tune up before the Patriot League championship at the Husky Invitational on Saturday, February 5 at 1:00 p.m.
