Women’s track and field finishes up at Patriot League Championship

WEST POINT, N.Y.— The Holy Cross women's track and field team finished sixth out of 10 teams with 34.83 points on the final day of competition at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship.

DAY TWO HIGHLIGHTS:

Sophomore Obiamaka Igwenagu finished in 10th-place with a mark of 11.18 meters in the triple jump.
Junior Jordyn Shubrick set a new personal best in the shot put with a mark of 12.52 meters. She finished in 11th-place overall.
Senior Grace Goodwin cleared 1.60 meters in the high jump and finished in eighth-place.
Senior Marina MacKinnon placed sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:16.04.
Senior Mimi Liebers raced to a sixth-place finish in the 400 meter hurdles in a time of 1:03.96, a new personal best.
Senior Claire Hanlon recorded a new personal best in the 5000 meters with a time of 17:29.32 and finishing in 17th-place.
The 4x400 relay team of sophomore Kate Ashley, sophomore Laura Turner, senior Elizabeth Larkin and senior Mimi Liebers claimed a fifth-place finish with a season-best time of 3:56.37.
