WEST POINT, N.Y.— Senior Christa Jay Moore broke her own meet record, jumping 4.05 meters in the pole vault to capture her second straight victory at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship to lead the Holy Cross women's track and field team on day one of competition. 

DAY ONE HIGHLIGHTS:

• Moore won her second straight title in the pole vault at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship, with a new meet record of 4.05 meters. Moore set the previous record of 3.97 meters at the meet in 2019. Sophomore Annie Lineberger finished tied for third with a mark of 3.75 meters.
• Junior classmates Sam Carroll and Kelsey O'Hara qualified for the finals in the 1500 meters. Carroll finished with the 11th-best and a personal best time of 4:49.29, and O'Hara finished with the 12th-best time of 4:49.50.
• Sophomore Cymeria Robshaw took home a fifth-place finish in the long jump with a personal best mark of 5.59 meters.
• Senior Marina MacKinnon advanced to the finals of the 800 meters, after posting a time of 2:17.10, the fifth-best time of the day.
• Junior Jordyn Shubrick placed 10th in the weight throw with a mark of 47.03 meters.
• Senior Mimi Liebers advanced to the finals in the 400 meter hurdles, crossing the finish line with the eighth-best overall time of 1:05.04.
