WORCESTER, Mass. — Holy Cross head men's rowing coach
Jim Barr has announced the Crusaders' schedule for the 2021 spring season, which is slated to begin on April 3. The Crusaders are set to race six times this spring, after having the spring 2020 and fall 2020 portions of their season canceled due to COVID-19.
Holy Cross will open the year by facing Colgate in Rome, N.Y., on April 3. The Crusaders will then have a pair of home races on Lake Quinsigamond, facing Bates on April 10 and Trinity on April 17. Holy Cross will head to Teaneck, N.J., for its next two events, taking on Georgetown, Marist and Temple on April 24 and Navy on May 2. The season will conclude with the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championship in West Windsor, N.J., from May 28-29.
Races will be contingent on institutions being able to conduct competition in ways that protect the health and safety of student-athletes, coaches, staffs and their communities.
All scheduled races are tentative and subject to change.
