Women’s track and field competes at Patriot League Challenge

BOSTON— The Holy Cross women's track and field team closed out its indoor season at the Patriot League Challenge hosted by Boston University on Sunday, Feb. 28.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

Laura Turner posted a win in the 400 meters with a time of 58.26, just .10 off her personal record. Kate Ashley (58.32), Mimi Liebers (58.56) and Elizabeth Larkin (59.94) all posted personal records in the event and finished second, third and fourth, respectively.
Marina MacKinnon finished in first-place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:16.40. Emily Foley finished in third-place with a personal record time of 2:17.47. Gabby Harmon also posted a personal record in the 800 meters with a time of 2:23.88.
In the mile, Sam Carroll raced to a first-place finish with a personal record time of 5:10.68. Alyson Walsh and Madalyne Buco finished the mile with personal record times of 5:15.43 and 5:16.58, respectively.
Cymeria Robshaw claimed first-place in the triple jump with a mark of 11.21m. Obiamaka Igwenagu's mark of 11.12m in the event was a personal record.
Jordyn Shubrick won the shot put event with a mark of 11.55m and placed second in the weight throw with a mark of 15.37m.
Emma McClafferty and Maura Campbell each posted personal records in the weight throw with marks of 12.41m and 12.32m, respectively.
Christa Jay Moore won the pole vault event with a mark of 3.65m.
The women's 4x400 relay team of Laura Turner, Mimi Liebers, Elizabeth Larkin and Kate Ashley finished in first-place with a time of 3:59.84.
Rhiannon Richmond opened up her career with the Crusaders with a win in the 3000 meters, posting a time of 10:27.05.
Meah Austin won the 60 meter hurdles in a time of 9.74.
