The Holy Cross men's basketball team will play its second straight home game when it faces New Hampshire at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27. The contest between the Crusaders and the Wildcats will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.
Holy Cross enters the game with an overall record of 2-4 on the year. The Crusaders are coming off a 95-52 victory over Mount St. Vincent on Wednesday, and have a 2-0 mark at home. Sophomore guard
Judson Martindale has led Holy Cross by averaging 13.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, while hitting 37.5 percent (12 of 32) of his attempts from three-point range. Senior forward
Gerrale Gates has also been playing well, with averages of 13.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest. In addition, freshman guard
Kyrell Luc has averaged 12.7 points, 3.7 boards and 2.8 assists per game.
New Hampshire stands 2-2 overall this season, including an 84-69 victory over Quinnipiac on Tuesday. Senior forward Jayden Martinez leads the team by averaging 20.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per contest, while hitting 55.2 percent (32 of 58) of his shots from the floor. Senior forward Nick Guadarrama (12.3 points per game), senior guard Qon Murphy (10.3 points per game) and sophomore guard Blondeau Tchoukuiegno (10.0 points per game) are also scoring in double figures.
After the game with New Hampshire, Holy Cross will travel to Central Connecticut for a 7:00 p.m. game on Wednesday, Dec. 1.
