WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's hockey team will host Army for a pair of games this Thursday, Jan. 21 and Friday, Jan. 22. Both games will begin at 6 p.m.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT HOLY CROSS:
- Last time out, the Crusaders fell 1-0 to AIC in a tight matchup with their Atlantic Hockey foe.
- Erik Gordon made 30 saves in the contest for a .968 save percentage, bringing his season mark up to .918.
- In the program's first game in three and a half weeks, Holy Cross' defense was sharp. The Crusaders killed all eight of the Yellow Jackets' power play chances, improving their penalty kill percentage to 86.8% on the year, good for 12th in the nation.
SCOUTING ARMY:
- Army sits at 3-5 on the season with wins over Bentley, AIC, and LIU. The Black Knights also lost single games to Bentley and LIU and three times to AIC.
- Colin Bilek leads the team with nine points from seven goals and two assists. He also has a team-high four power play goals.
- Trevin Kozlowski and Justin Evenson have split time in goal for the Black Knights with Kozlowski starting five of the eight games, but Evenson posting slightly better stats with a .900 save percentage and a 2.84 goals against average.
- Army has been strong on the power play at 24.4% but weak on the penalty kill at just 67.7%.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Over the last three seasons the two sides have been extremely well-matched, with the Crusaders owning a 2-2-2 record against the Black Knights in that time frame. In those six games, both teams have scored a total of 15 goals.
- All time, Holy Cross is 36-38-11 against Army, dating back to the 1972-73 season.
