Holy Cross baseball interim head coach
Ed Kahovec has announced the completion of his coaching staff for the 2020 season.
Marek Drabinski will serve as an assistant coach, while
Ryan O'Rourke joins the staff as a volunteer assistant coach.
Drabinski has been promoted after serving as a volunteer on the staff for the past two seasons. Prior to that, he was an assistant coach at the University of Connecticut. Drabinski is a 1991 graduate of UConn, where he was also a four-year starting catcher for the Huskies, graduating in 1991.
O'Rourke, a Worcester native, comes to The Hill with a decade of professional playing experience under his belt. Drafted in 2010 by the Minnesota Twins, O'Rourke made his Major League debut in 2015 and has pitched more than 550 professional innings while playing in six different countries. He is a 2010 graduate of Merrimack College, where he was a Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner and was one of 35 semifinalists for the Division II Player of the Year.
