Final Results
PALM CITY, Fla. – Freshman Christian Emmerich finished in a tie for 38th place as an individual, as the Holy Cross men's golf team placed 13th out of 14 schools in the Martin Downs Collegiate at the Martin Downs Golf Club. Emmerich totaled 220 strokes over three rounds to conclude the tournament at four-over par.
Freshman Peter Radler tied for 47th place with a 222, while junior Harrison Thayer tied for 53rd with a 223. In addition, junior Connor Phillips tied for 57th with a 225 and sophomore Collin Fitzpatrick tied for 81st with a 235.
North Carolina-Greensboro won the team title with a three-round total of 823, while Holy Cross posted a 913. North Carolina-Greensboro's Zack Swanson earned medalist honors after finishing at 16-under par (200).
The Crusaders return to action when they take part in the Pinehurst Intercollegiate at the Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, N.C., from March 6-8..
