Six Crusaders Selected to 2019 Hampshire Honor Society

IRVING, Texas – Six graduating seniors from the 2018 Holy Cross football team have been selected to the 2019 Hampshire Honor Society, as announced by the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame. The team is comprised of graduating seniors from schools across the country who were starters or key reserves and maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20. A total of 1,643 players from 424 schools across the nation were selected to this year's Honor Society.

The Holy Cross players to be honored were senior linebacker Ryan Brady, senior offensive lineman Rory Costello, senior wide receiver Martin Dorsey, senior linebacker Jack McCabe, senior quarterback Geoff Wade and senior defensive back Akeem Walcott.

The Crusaders are scheduled to play their annual spring game this Saturday, April 13, at 3:30 p.m. Holy Cross will open the 2019 season when it travels to Navy on Saturday, Aug. 31.
