Max Mosey of the Holy Cross football team has earned Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week honors, as announced on Monday, Oct. 6.
During the Crusaders' contest vs. No. 25 Harvard on Oct. 4, Mosey totaled 87 yards on two punt returns. His 72-yard return in the third quarter was the seventh-longest in program history, and the longest by a Crusader since 2013. It is also the fourth-longest punt return in the nation this season and the longest in the Patriot League.
Mosey currently leads the Patriot League with 17.0 yards per punt return.
This is the second time Mosey has earned weekly conference accolades in his career, as he received Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week honors in 2024. He is the second Crusader to earn Special Teams Player of the Week laurels this season, joining sophomore
Alijah Cason.
Holy Cross resumes action on Oct. 18 with a Patriot League matchup at Richmond.
