Final Results
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Sophomore Lauren Schonewolf finished in a tie for 71st place as an individual, as the Holy Cross women's golf team placed 15th in the LadyCat Invitational at the LPGA International. Schonewolf totaled 255 strokes over three rounds to finish at 39-over par.
Junior Maddy Belden tied for 75th place overall with 259 strokes, while sophomore Emily Rodricks tied for 78th with 266 strokes. In addition, freshman Mary Anne Wiley finished in 83rd place with a 275.
Barry University won the team title with a three-round total of 856 strokes, while Holy Cross totaled 1,055 strokes. Josefina Foa Torres and Noemie Paré of Barry tied for individual medalist honors after finishing at six-under par (210 strokes).
The Crusaders return to action when they take part in the Sacred Heart Invitational at the Great River Golf Club in Milford, Conn., from April 7-8.
