Men's hockey to play Air Force in Colorado

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross will play its final series of the first half of the season with two games at Air Force on Dec. 6 and 7. The Crusaders will face the Falcons on Dec. 6 at 9:05 p.m. and on Dec. 7 at 7:05 p.m. ET.
 
Talking Points
• The Crusaders dropped two games to Bentley in their last weekend out, falling 3-2 (Nov. 29) and 4-1 (Nov. 30).
• Pete Kessel led the Crusaders with back-to-back power play goals on the weekend.
• Eight different Crusaders earned at least one point on the weekend.
• With an assist on Nov. 30, Alex Peterson now leads the team with eight points from three goals and five assists.

• Alex Peterson ranks third in freshmen scoring in Atlantic Hockey games. The rookie has posted eight points on three goals and five assists in 10 league games.

• In defensive scoring, Dalton Skelly ranks tied for ninth with five points.
• With four power play points (2-2-4), Logan Ferguson ranks tied for 19th in power play points. 
 
Rookie Impact
• Peterson tallied a two-goal game to earn him Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week on Nov. 12. Peterson is the second Crusader rookie to earn the award.
• Radomsky was also named the league's Rookie of the Month for October.
• With Bobby Young appearing in the Crusaders' lineup on Nov. 2, the entire class has now played their fist collegiate game.
 
Scouting Air Force
• The Falcons face the Crusaders with a 4-4-2 league mark, after most recently taking Niagara to overtime in back-to-back games and earning two points in a 3v3 overtime win on Nov. 30.
• Brady Tomlak leads the team with 12 points from four goals and eight assists.
• Air Force has scored four power play goals for a 6.7% conversion rate. On the power play, the Falcons hold an 80% success rate.
 • Alex Schilling has played nine games and owns a 4-1-2 record n a .916 save percentage and 2.02 goals against average.
