• Finished the season with 18 points
• Scored a team-high five power play goals
• Scored a career-high two goals on Feb. 1 against RIT
• Ended the season with a four-game goal scoring streak

2018-2019:

• Played in 29 games
• Posted two goals and two assists for four points
• Named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team

2017-2018:

• Played in 20 games
• Tallied two goals and one assist for three points
• Recorded his first collegiate goal at Army West Point on Nov. 18
• Named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team

BEFORE HOLY CROSS: 

• played for the Lone Star Brahmas of the North American Hockey League (NAHL)
• As an assistant team captain during the 2016-2017 season, he appeared in 58 games with 27 goals and 20 assists for 47 points
• His team won the South Division Playoff Championship in 2015, and were South Division Regular Season Champions for the 2016-2017 season
• For his career, Kessel played in 147 games with 46 goals and 45 assists for 91 points.

• Has three brothers (Mitch, Will and Matt)
• His brother Mitch played football at Cincinnati, while his brother Will was a member of the hockey team at Western Michigan
