WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's hockey team was edged by Bentley, 3-2, at the Hart Center.
Mike Higgins scored his first collegiate goal and the Crusaders were perfect on the penalty kill, but they could not outlast the Falcons.
The Crusaders found their scoring early, with a power play goal to start the game. While the Crusaders held the lead until the mid-point of the period, Bentley scored to even things up, 1-1.
Matt Radomsky made 10 saves in the frame and the Crusaders registered eight shots.
The second period again saw Holy Cross taking a lead, going ahead 2-1 as
Mike Higgins picked up his first career goal. The Falcons found a shorthanded opportunity to tie the game up with two seconds remaining in the period.
Bentley picked up their first lead of the game three quarters of the way through the period. The Crusaders' pressured offensively and skated six on five in the final minute, but could not even the score line.

Conner Jean at the right faceoff dot, all alone. Jean sent off a hard shot to the net, where
Pete Kessel re-directed it into the back of the net.

nd - 19:58 SH: Bentley's Brendan Hamblet got ahold of the puck as the Crusaders were breaking out and skated in on Radomsky alone for a shot to the top left corner.
