WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross swimming and diving teams competed against Fairfield this Friday, Nov. 1. The women claimed a 166-134 victory, while the men fell, 195-93.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Kayleigh Hoagland and Katy Saladin both won two individual events for the women. Hoagland claimed both the 200 (1:56.99) and 100 (54.22) frees. Saladin did the same with the back stroke, swimming a 1:00.04 in the 100 and a 2:08.78 in the 200.
• Hoagland was also part of a relay victory in the 400 free relay (3:38.59) along with Rowan Burgess, Fiona Walsh, and Madalyn Piasecki.
• Piasecki was also victorious in the 100 fly (59.21).
• Isabella Miko-Rydzaj and Emily Sullivan each won an event as well. Miko-Rydzaj took the 200 fly (2:10.28) and Sullivan the 200 IM (2:11.01).
• Jordyn Vandergrift won the one meter dive with a score of 222.74.
• For the men, Ben Fox won two events, the 50 and 100 frees, with times of 22.61 and 49.71 respectively.
• Nathan Kramer rounded out the day with first place finish in the 200 IM (2:01.50).
