Courtney Boghosian and sophomore
Addie Jenk both had first-place finishes, but the Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team was defeated by Boston University 191-109 at the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex. The Crusaders open the season at 0-1, while the Terriers begin the year at 1-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Boghosian won the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 59.02.
• Jenk took first in the one-meter diving with a score of 231.60.
• Junior
Devin Brindle had a pair of second place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle (24.42) and the 100-yard butterfly (56.98).
• Sophomore
Ellie Reinhart claimed second place in both the 100-yard backstroke (59.37) and 200-yard individual medley (2:13.58).
• Other Crusaders to finish in second place included junior
Kat Anticev (1,000-yard freestyle / 10:56.15), senior
Ainsley Nalen (200-yard backstroke / 2:08.09), junior
Megan Nelson (200-yard butterfly / 2:10.94) and sophomore
Brenna Short (three-meter diving / 252.23).

• Holy Cross will return to action on Friday, Oct. 17, when it plays host to Bucknell at 4 p.m.
