HAMILTON, N.Y. – Led by a pair of All-Patriot League first team performances, the Holy Cross women's cross country team ran to a sixth-place finish at the Patriot League Championship on Saturday, Nov. 2.
For the second consecutive year, senior
Jenna Gasparrini placed second on the six-kilometer course out of 110 finishers, running a time of 21:57.2. Senior
Allison McArdle finished in seventh in a time of 22:16.1 to earn All-Patriot League first team honors in cross country for the first time in her career.
This is the first time since 2016 that Holy Cross has had a pair of student-athletes qualify for the All-Patriot League first team.
Holy Cross finished with a team total of 143 points. Sophomore

th, 23:35.7) and junior
Elizabeth Graves (54
th, 23:40.3) rounded out Holy Cross' top five.

th, clocking in at 24:00.5.

Emily Foley placed 72

Eve Feuerbach ran a time of 24:56.7 to place 93
rd, while junior
Gabrielle Gioia was 97
th at 25:24.4.
Boston University took the team title with 52 points, while Bucknell finished as the runner-up with 59 points.
The Crusaders will next compete at the NCAA Northeast Regional in Amherst, N.Y., on Nov. 15.
