BUFFALO, New York -- Senior
Jenna Gasparrini led the Holy Cross women's cross country team at the NCAA Northeast Regional on Friday, Nov. 15.
The Crusaders finished in 19
th place out of 37 teams. Harvard (92 points), Cornell (126 points) and Boston College (133 points) were the top three teams.
Out of 266 competitors, Gasparrini ran a personal-best time of 20:44.2 to place 47
th on the six-kilometer course, which was rerouted due to snowy conditions. Senior
Allison McArdle finished in 74
th place, running a time of 21:02.6.
Sophomore
Michaela Halloran was 126
th, clocking in at a personal-best 21:46.6. Junior
Elizabeth Graves came in 146
th, running a time of 22:02.7, and junior
Claire Hanlon was 164
th to round out Holy Cross' top five in a time of 22:19.4, also a personal best.
Sophomore
Emily Koufos was 174
th in a PR of 22:25.5, while junior
Sophia Haywood was 232
nd in 23:40.3.
