Men's hockey ready for home series with Army West Point

Holy Cross will play its first true home series of the season, welcoming Army West Point to the Hart Center for two games on Nov. 15 and 16 at 7:05 p.m. and 5:05 p.m., respectively.
 
Talking Points
• Last  time out, the Crusaders split with Sacred Heart. On Nov. 7, Alex Peterson led the way with a two-goal performance to lift Holy Cross past Sacred Heart, 2-1. On Nov. 8, the Pioneers took the game, 4-2.
• Neil Robinson scored his second goal of the year to give him a team-leading total of seven points.
• Jake Pappalardo added his first assist as a Crusader on Nov. 7, assisting on Peterson's game-winner.
• Prior to the goal against on Nov. 7, Holy Cross had successfully killed 10 consecutive power plays.
• Radomsky's 35-save performance at Sacred Heart is a new career-high for the rookie netminder.
 
Rookie Impact
• With 11 points so far as a class, the freshmen have accounted for 21% of the Crusaders' scoring through six games. With eight assists as a class, the freshmen account for 25% of the team's helpers and 23% of the team's overall points.
• Alex Peterson tallied a two-goal game to earn him Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week on Nov. 12. Peterson is the second Crusader rookie to earn the award.
• Matt Radomsky has played six games in goal and owns a 2-2-2 record, including leading the Crusaders to a shootout win against RIT (11/2). Radomsky was also named the league's Rookie of the Month for October.
• With Bobby Young appearing in the Crusaders' lineup on Nov. 2, the entire class has now played their first collegiate game.
 
Crusaders against the League
• With five points, Peterson ranks second among Atlantic Hockey freshman scoring.
• Robinson ranks 10th in Atlantic Hockey, averaging 0.62 assists per game.
• Jean ranks 10th in the league in scoring (0.50 goals per game).
• Ferguson's two power play goals is good for fourth-best in Atlantic Hockey.
• With a .910 save percentage, Matt Radomsky owns the fourth-best save percentage.
 
Scouting Army West Point
• The Black Knights own a 2-3-0 Atlantic Hockey mark, most recently splitting with AIC on Nov. 1 and 2.
• Four Black Knights lead the team's points total with four points. Michael Wilson and Colin Bilek lead with three goals and Dominic Franco has posted four assists.
• In net, Trevin Kozlowski has played seven games and owns a .905 save percentage and 2.25 goals against average.
• Army's penalty kill boasts a 96.8% success rate, allowing just one power play goal in 31 chances.
• On the power play, the Black Knights have a 13.9% conversion rate.
