WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross swimming and diving teams fell to Bucknell Friday evening. The men lost by a score of 165-96, while the women kept it a bit closer, 168-127.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Kayleigh Hoagland won two events, the 200 and 50 frees. She had times of 1:57.48 and 25.06 respectively.
• Nicole Kalavantis won the 200 fly with a time of 2:11.13.
• In the 100 back, Katy Saladin took second place with a 1:01.31.
• Julianna Bender did the same in the 100 breast with a 1:10.95.
• Emily Sullivan swam a 2:30.49 in the 200 breast, good enough for second place.
• Jordyn Vandergrift claimed second in the one-meter dive with a 209.31.
• John Nascimben had a pair of strong finishes as he won the 100 breast with a 1:01.30 and came in second in the 200 breast with a 2:18.85.
• Ben Fox took second in the 50 free with a 26.85.
• In the 200 medley relay, a team of Kaikea Wilinski, Nascimben, Michael Brennon, and Matthew Shea came in third with a time of 1:41.56.
