SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Holy Cross men's cross country team took seventh place out of 11 teams at the Nassaney Invitational hosted by Bryant on Saturday, Sept. 8. Northeastern took first place overall with 36 team points. Boston College's Sean Burke took first place in the varsity 8k with a time of 24:48.0.
Freshman Corey Kumamoto led the Crusaders in the Men's Varsity 8k with a time of 26:08.8 and finished in 27th. Freshman Joseph Leland finished right behind Kumamoto in 28th place with a time of 26:12.0.
