• The Lead: The Holy Cross women's tennis team's season came to an end Thursday afternoon, as the Crusaders fell to Colgate 4-0 in the first round of the Patriot League Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Junior Allison Reiling was defeated in the No.1 singles flight by scores of 6-0 and 6-1.
• At No. 2 singles, freshman Katya Martin took the loss with scores of 6-1 in both sets.
• Junior Morgan McGuire fell at No. 4 singles with scores of 6-2 and 6-1.
• Senior Katie Elia, junior Jennifer Kary and junior Caroline Kam each had their singles matches go unfinished once the decision went final. Elia (3-1) and Kary (2-1) each led their second sets after falling in the first set of their respective flights.
• The Raiders also earned a point in doubles play, winning all three flights. The duo of Reiling and McGuire fell at No.1 with a score of 6-1. Martin and Elia took the loss in the second flight, 6-2, while Kam and senior Meghan Lewis also fell 6-2 in the third flight.
