Final Results
LEWISBURG, Pa. – Freshman Joseph Leland finished 18th overall with a time of 26:36.1 on the eight-kilometer course, as the Holy Cross men's cross country team placed seventh at the Patriot League Championship. The Crusaders finished with a total of 210 points as a team, while Army West Point captured the team championship with 32 points. Kevin Murray of Navy won the individual title with a time of 25:27.5.
Senior Joseph Prunty earned an 52nd-place finish with a time of 27:30.2, while junior Bobby Tuzzio came in 61st in a time of 27:44.3. Freshman Corey Kumamoto finished in 65th place (27:44.3), and freshman Karter Seitz was 76th (28:07.4).
Boston University finished in second place as a team, to defeat the Crusaders in the Turnpike Trophy competition.
The Crusaders return to action on Friday, Nov. 9, when they take part in the NCAA Northeast Regional in Amherst, N.Y.
