The Lead: The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving teams placed second out of three teams at the Worcester City Championships Oct. 28.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Steve Tierney led the Crusaders in the 100 free with a time of 48.32. He was the only Crusader that placed first in an event.
- Jimmy Nugent came in third place in the 3m diving with a score of 246.60.
- The Crusaders finished second in the 400 Medley Relay with a finals time of 3:16.63. Freshman Chris Cerulli and juniors Corey Manley, Kevin Lagasse and Tierney made up the relay team.

The Crusaders will travel to Kingston, R.I., for the Harold Anderson Invitational Nov 17-18.
