• Won the 200 fly at the Husky Invitational (1:58.91) and at the 2019 Patriot League Championship with a personal-best time (1:50.71)
• Won the 100 IM vs. Assumption (56.52)
• Had 29 top three finishes, 30 top five, and 33 top ten finishes on the year
• Set personal-best times in the 50 free at the Patriot League Championships (21.15), in the 100 breast vs. Assumption (1:12.83), in the 50 fly at the Patriot League Championship (22.86), in the 100 fly at the Patriot League Championship (49.46),  in the 200 fly at the Patriot League Championship (1:50.71), and in the 100 IM vs. Assumption (56.52)
• Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

2017-2018:

• Finished first in the 200 free with a time of 1:44.74 and first in the 100 free with a time of 48.44 against Iona
• Took first in the 100 fly with a time of 52.34. He also placed first in the 200 fly with a finals time of 1:59.63 in the New England Catholic Invitational
• Placed first in the 200 free with a time of 1:47.22 and first in the 50 free with a time of 22.38 against Fairfield
• Took first in the 100 free with a time of 48.32 at the Worcester City Championships
• Placed first in the 500 free with a finals time of 4:44.27. The junior also finished first in the 100 fly with a time of 50.96 at the Harold Anderson Invitational
• Finished first in the 200 free (1:49.76) and 100 fly (52.17) against Colgate
• Took first in three events: 200 free (1:47.74), 100 free (49.00) and 100 fly (53.02) against Providence
• Recorded a first place finish in the 50 free with a time of 22.18. He also placed first in the 500 free (4:54.03) against Springfield
• Took first in the 400m medley relay with a finals time of 3:36.33
• Broke his own record in the 200 free with a time of 1:39.05 at the Patriot League Championships
• Broke the 100 free record leading off the 400 free relay. He recorded a time of 45.60 and the relay team finished ninth at the Patriot League Championships   
• Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

2016-2017:

• Took first place finish in the 100 butterfly, setting a new team-best time and personal record of 52.88 at the New England Catholic Invitational
• Against Fairfield, Tierney swam for a time of 1:58.98 in the 200 freestyle for first place, before leading the way in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.68. Tierney also placed first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 58.85.
• Took first place in the 200 freestyle with a season-best time of 1:44.30
• Finished first place in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:40.18 against Springfield
• Broke the standing 200-yard freestyle record at the Patriot League Championships
• Captured standing school record for the 200 medley relay, swimming for a time of 1:35.10, at the Patriot League Championships
• Recorded a second school record with a time of 6:58.2 in the 800 free relay at the Patriot League Championships
• Set a school record in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:27.62 at the Patriot League Championships
• Notched a time of 46.05 in the 100-yard freestyle breaking the standing record at the Patriot League Championships
• Finished 11th overall in the 200-yard freestyle with his time of 1:40.27 in the Patriot League Championships
• Named Crusader of the Week twice (10/24/2016 and 2/20/2017)

2015-2016:

• Competed in eight individual events including the 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, 50, 100, 200 and 500 freestyle and 100 IM
• His 50 (21.75), 100 (48.05), 200 (1:42.04) and 500 (4:50.50) freestyle times were ranked team-best
• Also competed in the 200, 400 and 800 freestyle relay, as well as the 200 and 400 medley relay
• Also swam as a member of the Holy Cross recording breaking 800 freestyle relay team that recorded a time of 6:59.65 at the Patriot League Championship
• Swam as a member of the 400 freestyle relay team that broke the Holy Cross record at the Patriot League Championship with a time of 3:09.61
• Swam as a member of the 200 freestyle relay team at the Patriot League Championship that set a school record time of 1:26.51
• Also swam as a member of the 400 medley relay team that recorded a team-best time of 3:30.70 at the Patriot League Championship
• Recorded season-best times in the 100 backstroke (1:00.53), 100 breaststroke (1:24.40), 100 butterfly (53.58) and 100 IM (1:01.36) at the Assumption Pentathlon (10/3), in the 100 freestyle (48.05) at the New England Catholic Invitational (10/17), in the 500 freestyle (4:50.50) versus Colgate (10/25) and in the 50 (21.75) and 200 (1:42.04) at the Patriot League Championship (2/19)
